How do I schedule a visit to the Automation Lab?

Scheduling a visit is easy! If you are already a Triad customer, simply reach out to your Triad sales representative, and they'll help you arrange a time. Current and prospective customers can also request a visit online through our contact form.

What are the lab's operating hours?

Our Automation Lab is open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. However, we ask that all customers schedule their visit to ensure our experts are available and the parts or applications you wish to test are prepared.

How far in advance should I schedule my visit?

Visits are based on the availability of our lab and experts. Though we may sometimes be able to accommodate shorter timelines, we usually advise planning your visit at least 3-5 days in advance.

What is the address and are there parking instructions?

You can find our Automation Lab at 11632 Rockfield Court, Sharonville, OH 45241. Entry can be found to the right of Triad’s Sharonville ParkerStore entrance. Ample parking is available on-site.

Is there a cost to visit the lab?

No, there is no cost to visit our Automation Lab - all application testing and qualification is available free of charge.

How long are typical lab visits?

Most lab visits typically last between 30 to 60 minutes, though we can adjust based on your specific needs.

Can I bring my own parts or application examples to test?

Absolutely! We highly encourage you to bring your own parts or application examples to test in the lab. This allows for a more tailored and effective demonstration of potential solutions.

Can you help us develop a specific automation solution in the lab?

Yes, our experts are here to help you develop specific automation solutions tailored to your unique requirements.

What level of technical expertise is required to benefit from a lab visit?

The only expertise required for your visit is the ability to communicate the details of your application. While technical knowledge may be helpful, it is not a prerequisite to benefit from our lab. Our experts will guide you through the process to ensure you get the most from your visit.

Can I bring multiple members of my team to the lab?

Yes, you can! Our Automation Lab has ample space to host up to 10 visitors at a time, allowing your entire team to collaborate in real-time with our experts.

Will there be Triad experts available to answer my questions?

Yes, there will always be Triad experts available during your visit to answer questions and provide insights.

Is post-visit support available if we want to implement what we learned in the lab?

Yes, absolutely! Our commitment to your success doesn't end when you leave the lab. We offer post-visit support to help you implement the solutions and strategies you explored during your visit.

Can I request a virtual tour if I cannot visit in person?

While we don't offer pre-recorded virtual tours, our team can still work with you virtually! If you're unable to visit in person, we can schedule a Teams meeting to discuss your application, or you can send us sample parts, and we can shoot a proof-of-concept video to share with you.

Do you host special events or open houses in the lab?

Yes, our team frequently host open houses and other special events in the lab. These are fantastic opportunities to delve deeper into specific automation topics, see new technologies in action, and network with industry peers. Please contact us directly for a current schedule of upcoming events.

Do you offer automation workshops or training sessions?

Though not specific to our lab, Triad offers automation trainings throughout the year at various Triad locations. Please contact your Triad sales representative or visit our trainings page  for training schedules and registration information.
