SICK Launches the New SIG300 IO-Link Master

Modern industrial manufacturing is dependent on intelligent automation and seamless data flow, from the factory floor to the control room. That’s why Triad is excited to introduce SICK’s groundbreaking SIG300 Universal IO-Link Master, a powerful solution designed to revolutionize how you connect, control, and optimize production.
The SIG300 isn't your average gateway - it offers eight IO-Link ports (6x Class A, 2x Class B) that act as a central hub to gather and consolidate data from all your connected smart devices. The device can act as a stand-alone unit, and has the ability to easily communicate with external PLC and cloud connections, ensuring you always have real-time feedback on device status and process control. Any deviation from your defined parameters is instantly flagged so your team can quickly respond, helping you prevent costly mistakes and unwanted downtime.
Depending on your requirements, IO-Link ports can also function as digital inputs or outputs, making them a flexible solution for a variety of applications. The pins of the class B ports provide a reliable power supply of up to 4 A each (2 A per class A port, max. 16 A per device), providing power for even the most power-hungry sensors and devices.
The SIG300 also offers an integrated programmable logic editor, letting you automatically execute simple control tasks at the field level, reducing complicated PLC modifications and minimizing response times.
With variants supporting PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT, as well as a convenient REST API version, it is easy to integrate the SIG300 into almost any existing system. A backup and restore function is also available for connected IO-Link devices, effortlessly reconfiguring devices after disconnection for maintenance or replacement.
Key Benefits at a Glance:
