Throughout the course of 2022, Triad made great strides in leadership, customer service, and our industry, and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated staff and supportive customers. NEW PRODUCT LINE: TRANSAIR

In May, Triad became a distributor for Transair, Parker’s premier compressed air aluminum piping system. Transair is an adaptable and easy-to-modify piping system for compressed air (wet, dry, or lubricated), as well as industrial/inert gas, vacuum, and more.

TRADE SHOW

Also in May, Triad Technologies celebrated our 40 Year Anniversary with a trade show and open house at our Vandalia location. The two-day event featured more than 25 of the top manufacturers in automation and motion control. Over 200 guests were able to participate in a variety of training classes and seminars, while also connecting with our team of application engineers, product specialists, and automation experts. 

YOUNGSTOWN, OH PARKERSTORE

May also marked the opening of a ParkerStore in Youngstown, OH, further expanding our network of Northeast Ohio stores. The Youngstown ParkerStore is located at 3125 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505.

WOOSTER, OH PARKERSTORE

In August, we opened a ParkerStore in Wooster, OH helping us to extend our Northeast Ohio network of stores further south. The Wooster ParkerStore is located at 1747 Akron Rd., Suite B, Wooster, OH 44691.

EXPANSION INTO ILLINOIS

In the spring, we were authorized to expand into Illinois to become a premier Parker distributor in the greater Chicago area. As part of our expansion into Illinois, we opened a Triad Branch Office in Lombard, IL in December. The opening of this branch supports Triad’s plans to expand our product and service offering throughout the Midwest.

ACQUISITION OF INDUSTRIAL SERVICE PRODUCTS

Also in December of 2022, we acquired Industrial Service Products (ISP) in Lyons, IL, a value-added distributor of custom fabricated hose, valves, fittings, and other related products. The combination of Triad and ISP creates a powerful platform to deliver value-added solutions to new and existing customers, as well as enhance Triad’s fluid conveyance and industrial hose capabilities.

EXECUTIVE LEVEL ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES

In 2021, Triad made the shift to a business unit structure operating under three business units: Automation, Fluid Power, and Retail. In 2022, Triad promoted Jeff Knaus to serve as the new Fluid Power Business Unit Manager.

Additionally, throughout the year, Triad made several organizational changes to better support our enterprise and place expert staff in key roles throughout our organization. To support our expansion into Illinois, Matt Schatteman was hired as General Manager for the Chicago area. We also had staffing changes in our Vandalia headquarters, including hiring on Kaycee Wirsig as Triad’s new CFO and Jen Lustig as VP of Human Resources, a new position for Triad.
