Triad Appoints New VPs to Drive Growth & Enhance Service

Triad Technologies is restructuring our business model to better support our customers and future growth. As part of this change, we have divided our Chief Revenue Officer position into two specialized leadership roles: Vice President of Product Management and Vice President of Sales. We are pleased to announce that two highly qualified internal candidates have been promoted to these positions.
Matt Schatteman, Vice President of Product Management
Matt Schatteman joined Triad in August 2022 as General Manager for Triad’s Chicago Region, successfully leading Triad’s expansion into this new market. With over two decades of experience in distribution and manufacturing, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and a focus on company values to his role as Vice President of Product Management. This newly created position will help to align our business units, product management, technical support, and marketing efforts in support of our sales team.
As VP of Product Management, Matt will work to make our customers safer, more efficient, and more competitive in their markets. His responsibilities will include expanding access to technical solutions, simplifying Triad’s transaction process, and enhancing customer web experience with new tools and content. He will also provide enhanced marketing support to our manufacturing partners. As a result, customers can expect a continuation of Triad’s commitment to outstanding customer service, combined with new services and technologies designed to ensure your success.
Jeff Knaus, Vice President of Sales
We are also excited to announce the promotion of Jeff Knaus to Vice President of Sales. Previously a Regional Manager at Parker Hannifin, Jeff seized the opportunity to join the Triad team when he relocated to Ohio in 2017. Since then, Jeff has held several key positions including Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Ohio Fluid Power team and Fluid Power Business Unit Manager. His demonstrated leadership capabilities across numerous product lines and his strong relationships with customers, supplier partners, and internal teams make him the ideal choice for this critical role.
Under Jeff’s leadership, we're restructuring our sales team to offer a streamlined customer experience. As we expand our product and service offerings, our team will transition to a new regional model, ensuring every customer has a single, dedicated representative. This shift will foster deeper, more localized relationships and reduce complexity when working with Triad.
