Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Maintains personal relationships with existing store customers and develops relationships with new customers.
  • Identifies and fulfills customer product and/or service requirements.
  • Fabricates hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic hose assemblies to fulfill customer needs.
  • Coordinates pick up transactions at the counter including locating and pulling orders as required.
  • Performs computer data entry related to all areas of Parker Store operations.
  • Performs accurate cycle counts, orders products, transfers product to other locations, receives and stocks shelves with inventory.
  • Works with store manager to maintain a professional store showroom appearance, assists in creating new displays and implements related marketing programs.
  • Performs daily/weekly cleaning of store and bathroom(s).
  • Along with the manager, is responsible for opening and closing the store.
  • May serve as on-call for after-hours customer emergencies.
  • Drives to deliver and pick up materials as needed.

Requirements and/or Special Skills:

  • High School diploma and three or more years of related work experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine and correspondence reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, specifically to customers and other employees in the organization
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (will be given a mechanical aptitude test)
  • Excellent communication and work organization skills
  • Good computer/keyboarding skills required
  • Willing to work occasional overtime (may need to cover weekends on rotating basis)
  • Must be willing to attend in-house and external product and sales training as required

Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Deliver all necessary equipment and materials to the customer’s facility.
  • Read and comprehend hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication schematics as well as layout drawings of machine guarding installations.
  • Observe all safety guidelines. Recognize electrical disconnect(s) and verify power is off before working on any system. Discharge system using manual unloading valve before commencing work.
  • Determine general layout of circuit and install components accordingly.
  • Fabricate and install hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication plumbing (tubing and hose assemblies) on machinery and equipment.
  • Install pre-fabricated guarding at customer location and fabricate any additional panels on-site as needed.
  • Replace worn or damaged hydraulic components such as oil lines, fittings, cylinders, valves, gaskets and seals.
  • Disassemble hydraulic systems and remove or replace defective motors, pumps, valving and actuators on occasion.
  • Visually inspect completed installations by examining all components, fluid lines and guarding. Observe and listen to operating machinery to detect any malfunctions.
  • Read indicators such as pressure gauges, flow meters and temperature gauges to analyze system performance.

Requirements and/or Special Skills:

  • Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in both written and oral form.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to both customers and other employees in the organization.
  • Computer Skills – Basic computer skills are required.

Other Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Aptitude – Must score a 70 percent or better on the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test.
  • Material Handling Capabilities – Must be able to maneuver, with assistance, up to 500 pounds when loading and unloading trailer. Must be able to handle products/components up to 100 pounds.
  • Personal Tools – Must have own personal tools to use.
  • No Travel Restrictions – Must have a good driving record and a valid Ohio Driver’s license. Must be able to travel overnight when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • This individual is responsible for handling all essential duties and responsibilities of inside sales and customer service with an emphasis on Technical Solutions orders.
  • Duties include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to all customer inquiries and requests, providing some technical assistance to customers, proactively expediting customer orders, entering orders/quotes/credits/RMA’s, assisting outside salesforce as well as our purchasing, accounting, and shipping and receiving departments, etc., in getting problems solved.
  • Incumbent will reference various vendor websites, ordering systems and catalogs on a daily basis.
  • They will also be responsible for vendor relationship building.
  • POSSESSING A TECHNICAL/MECHANICAL APTITUDE is instrumental in performing these duties.

Requirements and/or Special Skills:

  • Ideal candidate will have three or more years of related work experience (Industrial Sales experience desirable), possess math, language and reasoning ability along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Office 365). Familiarity with Epicor/Prophet 21 software a plus. Candidate must exercise excellent interpersonal and telephone skills that include the ability to communicate accurately, effectively, and professionally with customers, vendors and fellow employees. Good organizational skills are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships;
  • Responding to all customer inquiries and requests received via incoming phone calls, faxes, e-mails, Triad website and EDI per customer’s time constraint;
  • Providing limited technical assistance to customers (i.e., Part number identification & clarification, model code creation, customer print/drawing reading, BOM assembly creation, etc.);
  • Order entry (Manual, website, EDI, AutoOrder);
  • Quotation entry;
  • RMA entry;
  • Credit Memo creation;
  • Issuing and completing vendor returned goods authorizations;
  • Some filing;
  • Purchasing including entering purchase orders on vendor’s computer systems (TOPS, PH Connect, Extranet);
  • Assisting outside sales personnel with customer requests and quotations;
  • Supporting other departments within Triad (internal customers);
  • Expediting customer orders on a daily basis;
  • Acting as liaison between customers and vendors;
  • Handling customer objectives and resolving customer problems;
  • Taking ownership of customer orders/requests/problems from beginning to end;
  • Helping in building and maintaining vendor relationships;
  • Ongoing training on products and services provided by Triad Technologies;
  • Customer visits as required;
  • Participation in efforts to streamline and make departmental processes better;
  • Maintain professional, pleasant demeanor when working with internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and prioritizes daily shipping orders;
  • Pulls all parts and fabricates hose assemblies and other components if necessary;
  • If required, calls the freight carrier and completes any carrier paperwork;
  • Loads and unloads trucks. Inspects containers and material and reports any damage or missing items.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weights, and measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify bills of lading, invoices, orders, etc.;
  • Determines method of shipment;
  • Preps packed boxes (affixes labels, assembles containers, packages the boxes, binds, tapes and stamps identifying information onto the containers, weighs and calculates shipping charges, etc.);
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify any shortages;
  • Routes items to appropriate location;
  • Examines outgoing shipments;
  • Operates forklift to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform (we do provide internal training for forklift certification).
Position requirements:  Must be able to read and follow written work instructions, able to use standard hand and power tools, able to calculate simple math, perform alpha-numeric data entry (ALL transactions are computerized), ability to stand on your feet, and possess a positive attitude/demeanor. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble product per drawing, specifications, or BOMs with the emphasis on kit assemblies (i.e. hose kits, component assemblies, extrusion kits, lubrication assemblies, etc.)
  • Prioritize build schedules based upon production schedules or required dates.
  • Communicate production improvement ideas or issues to management.
  • Work in warehouse as needed to achieve customer service levels
  • Assist in training new personnel as needed.
Position requirements:  Read and follow written work instructions, be able to measure and perform basic calculations, read and interpret blue prints, and ability to use standard hand and power tools. Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test.
