Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Maintains personal relationships with existing store customers and develops relationships with new customers.
  • Identifies and fulfills customer product and/or service requirements.
  • Fabricates hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic hose assemblies to fulfill customer needs.
  • Coordinates pick up transactions at the counter including locating and pulling orders as required.
  • Performs computer data entry related to all areas of Parker Store operations.
  • Performs accurate cycle counts, orders products, transfers product to other locations, receives and stocks shelves with inventory.
  • Works with store manager to maintain a professional store showroom appearance, assists in creating new displays and implements related marketing programs.
  • Performs daily/weekly cleaning of store and bathroom(s).
  • Along with the manager, is responsible for opening and closing the store.
  • May serve as on-call for after-hours customer emergencies.
  • Drives to deliver and pick up materials as needed.

Requirements and/or Special Skills:

  • High School diploma and three or more years of related work experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine and correspondence reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, specifically to customers and other employees in the organization
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (will be given a mechanical aptitude test)
  • Excellent communication and work organization skills
  • Good computer/keyboarding skills required
  • Willing to work occasional overtime (may need to cover weekends on rotating basis)
  • Must be willing to attend in-house and external product and sales training as required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and prioritizes daily shipping orders;
  • Pulls all parts and fabricates hose assemblies and other components if necessary;
  • If required, calls the freight carrier and completes any carrier paperwork;
  • Loads and unloads trucks. Inspects containers and material and reports any damage or missing items.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weights, and measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify bills of lading, invoices, orders, etc.;
  • Determines method of shipment;
  • Preps packed boxes (affixes labels, assembles containers, packages the boxes, binds, tapes and stamps identifying information onto the containers, weighs and calculates shipping charges, etc.);
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify any shortages;
  • Routes items to appropriate location;
  • Examines outgoing shipments;
  • Operates forklift to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform (we do provide internal training for forklift certification).
Position requirements:  Must be able to read and follow written work instructions, able to use standard hand and power tools, able to calculate simple math, perform alpha-numeric data entry (ALL transactions are computerized), ability to stand on your feet, and possess a positive attitude/demeanor. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.

  • Assemble product per drawing, specifications, or BOMs with the emphasis on kit assemblies (i.e. hose kits, component assemblies, extrusion kits, lubrication assemblies, etc.)
  • Prioritize build schedules based upon production schedules or required dates.
  • Communicate production improvement ideas or issues to management.
  • Work in warehouse as needed to achieve customer service levels
  • Assist in training new personnel as needed.
Position requirements:  Read and follow written work instructions, be able to measure and perform basic calculations, read and interpret blue prints, and ability to use standard hand and power tools. Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test.

Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Ensures manufacturing associates are properly trained and helps monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices;
  • Performs expediting duties of inbound and outbound orders to achieve departmental goals;
  • Communicates to internal and external customers on delivery status;
  • Supervises the transactional activities to achieve hourly performance goals;
  • Provides guidance, support, and direction to other departmental employees;
  • Coordinates the staging of material and part presentation;
  • Interprets and enforces safety regulations (leads by example);
  • Supports and promotes process improvements of the manufacturing operations;
  • Ensures proper documentation of all approved jobs and orders;
  • Communicates and coordinates customer and design specification issues and resolutions;
  • Monitors equipment or processes and communicates problems to Supervisor;
  • Encourages and monitors facility cleanliness and housekeeping initiatives on a daily basis;
  • Assists internal customers to identify requested information;
  • Performs job/order audits and inventory discrepancy resolutions;
  • Performs the job duties of the manufacturing associates as needed.
  • Fulfills back-up duties in the absence of the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Position Requirments:

  • Read and follow written work instructions and possess strong mathematical skills
  • Be able to lift 50-75 lbs
  • Be able to become forklift certified
  • Have excellent attention to detail and possess accurate keyboarding skills (data entry).
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office and Prophet21 knowledge

Interpersonal Responsibilies:

  • Consults on the evaluation of the salesforce talent base. Establishes accountabilities and performance agreements, monitors execution, and provides ongoing feedback. Participates in compensation reviews and establishing compensation plans.
  • Participates in the talent acquisition process for direct report positions and creates development plans for team members. Establishes and implements training programs and improves team effectiveness through mentoring, coaching, involvement, and problem solving.
  • Works collaboratively across the organization and serves as a conduit for ensuring customers’ needs are met.
  • Shares information and best practices with peers and assists with developing solutions for meeting customer requirements, troubleshooting issues and serving as a sounding board.

Operational Responsibilies:

  • Manages the activities of the sales reps and ensures the right tools and systems are in place to effectively prioritize accounts, manages sales pipelines, and executes tactical sales plans for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Reviews monthly and/or quarterly key performance indicators including the ROI of sales and marketing activities, sales pipeline, account plans, opportunities projected to close and any barriers or roadblocks.
  • Performs account reviews with sales representatives and assists with the creation of account management plans.
  • Participates in joint sales calls on key accounts. Provides coaching on managing the selling process including lead generation, planning call objectives, making presentations, account qualification, solution development and closing.
  • Provides input on product recommendations and the development of major quotes. Monitors the flow of information between the salesforce and engineering. Communicates profitability targets and manages expectations for turnaround of quotations.
  • Implements market plan initiatives and integrates new product/service concepts in development of sales promotions, contests, and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilizes understanding of CSR technical capabilities and response times to coordinates CSR client assignments.
  • Assigns sales leads received from CSRs and/or marketing activities to account managers.
  • Consults with Branch Managers and sales team on structuring customer pricing and overrides for specific accounts as well as product expedites.
  • Proactively works with CSRs, shipping and logistics on service issues that may impact customer relationships. Serves as a liaison between Triad, suppliers, and the customer when necessary to resolve and follow up on escalated quality issues.
  • Consults with accounting on customer payment terms and assists with developing credit management solutions for at risk customers.
  • Reviews and approves sales representative expenses and reimbursements.

Organizational Responsibilies:

  • Oversees the process for setting distributor performance plan goals and negotiated targets.
  • Collaborates with Product Sales Managers on sales planning and technology-specific training.

Skills and Experience

  • Education and/or Experience – Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or ten to fifteen years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree or greater is desired.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Prophet21.
  • Certificates, Licenses & Registrations – Incumbent must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Other Qualifications – Position requires traveling at least 50% of the time; overnight stays required upon occasion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Prepares quotations for the variety of products/systems offered based upon customer specifications/requirements and generally accepted industry standards.
  • Provides assembly department, field service technicians, etc. with the documentation and technical support necessary to build products and perform services consistent with all specifications and standards.
  • Oversees projects to ensure all delivery and quality requirements are met.
  • Produces circuit diagrams, mechanical layout/assembly drawings and fabrication details using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Provides technical support (hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, electrical and lubrication) for both motion control systems and components for the entire customer base.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and/or special skills

  • Education and/or Experience – Associate’s degree or equivalent from a trade or technical school and five to seven years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of both.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; fundamentals of plane and solid geometry; and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Computer Skills – Must have Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experience.
  • Other Requirements – Must have strong working knowledge of motion control products (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical), circuits and applications.
  • No Travel Restrictions – Must have a good driving record and a valid Ohio Driver’s license. Must be able to travel overnight when needed.
