Essential Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Maintains personal relationships with existing store customers and develops relationships with new customers.
  • Identifies and fulfills customer product and/or service requirements.
  • Fabricates hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic hose assemblies to fulfill customer needs.
  • Coordinates pick up transactions at the counter including locating and pulling orders as required.
  • Performs computer data entry related to all areas of Parker Store operations.
  • Performs accurate cycle counts, orders products, transfers product to other locations, receives and stocks shelves with inventory.
  • Works with store manager to maintain a professional store showroom appearance, assists in creating new displays and implements related marketing programs.
  • Performs daily/weekly cleaning of store and bathroom(s).
  • Along with the manager, is responsible for opening and closing the store.
  • May serve as on-call for after-hours customer emergencies.
  • Drives to deliver and pick up materials as needed.

Requirements and/or Special Skills:

  • High School diploma and three or more years of related work experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine and correspondence reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, specifically to customers and other employees in the organization
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (will be given a mechanical aptitude test)
  • Excellent communication and work organization skills
  • Good computer/keyboarding skills required
  • Willing to work occasional overtime (may need to cover weekends on rotating basis)
  • Must be willing to attend in-house and external product and sales training as required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and prioritizes daily shipping orders;
  • Pulls all parts and fabricates hose assemblies and other components if necessary;
  • If required, calls the freight carrier and completes any carrier paperwork;
  • Loads and unloads trucks. Inspects containers and material and reports any damage or missing items.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weights, and measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify bills of lading, invoices, orders, etc.;
  • Determines method of shipment;
  • Preps packed boxes (affixes labels, assembles containers, packages the boxes, binds, tapes and stamps identifying information onto the containers, weighs and calculates shipping charges, etc.);
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify any shortages;
  • Routes items to appropriate location;
  • Examines outgoing shipments;
  • Operates forklift to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform (we do provide internal training for forklift certification).
Position requirements:  Must be able to read and follow written work instructions, able to use standard hand and power tools, able to calculate simple math, perform alpha-numeric data entry (ALL transactions are computerized), ability to stand on your feet, and possess a positive attitude/demeanor. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures warehouse associates are properly trained and helps monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safe work practices;
  • Performs expediting duties of inbound and outbound orders to achieve departmental goals;
  • Communicates to internal and external customers on delivery status;
  • Supervises the transactional activities to achieve hourly performance goals;
  • Provides guidance, support, and direction to other departmental employees;
  • Coordinates the loading and unloading of trucks;
  • Interprets and enforces safety regulations (leads by example);
  • Supports and promotes process improvements of the warehouse operations;
  • Ensures proper documentation of all approved “Inbound” and “Outbound” of materials;
  • Handles customer and carrier issues as needed;
  • Monitors equipment or processes and communicates problems to Supervisor;
  • Encourages and monitors warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping initiatives on a daily basis;
  • Assists internal customers to identify requested information;
  • Performs cycle counting and inventory discrepancy resolutions;
  • Performs the job duties of the shipping and receiving associates as needed;
  • Fulfills back-up duties in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.

Skills and Experience

  • Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or GED; and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
  • Computer Skills – – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Prophet21.
  • Personal Skills – Must be able to positively influence people and communicate in effectively internally and externally.
  • Customer Service Skills – Must have a strong desire to provide high satisfaction levels to internal and external customers.
  • Other Qualifications – Must become forklift certified.
    - Must have Hazard Communication training.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities – This position has supervisory responsibilities over Warehouse Clerks.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply checks and ACH deposits on a daily basis. Verify invoice numbers and amounts are accurate in posting multi-line remits in a fast paced environment. Proficient data entry and attention to detail are a must.
  • General accounting tasks including reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies and reviewing general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in month end closing.
  • Participate in year-end audit, providing required support and explanation to auditors.
  • Researches and reports any unapplied payment.
  • Account maintenance activities.
  • Regular reviews of assigned customers’ accounts to ensure timely payment.
  • Providing timely resolution of all discrepancies.
  • Assist upper management with identifying potential bad debt accounts.
  • Resolve account/customer disputes, rejected or returned payments, skipped or lapsed payments/invoices.
  • Communicates with customers to reconcile payments and resolve past due balances.
  • Responsible for researching and resolving credit card disputes.
  • Assist with running the research credit investigations as directed.
  • Monitoring department email box.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Well-founded grasp of cash application.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable.
  • Basic understanding of GL accounts is preferred.
  • Prior experience in working and managing Order-to-Cash.
  • Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy.
  • Detailed and have the ability work independently.
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proven knowledge of Aging Reports
  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated proficiency in Excel formulas.
  • Prior experience in Prophet 21 a plus.

  • Education and/or Experience – Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field is required along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a finance environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have previous experience working and managing Order-to-Cash.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Understand accounting principles.
  • Language Skills – Must have strong, professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations as well as with customers, clients, and other groups of individuals.
  • Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual needs to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Exposure or working knowledge of Prophet21 a plus.
  • Personal Skills – Must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth environment. Incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability and motivation to work collaboratively in a team environment across regions and functions as well as working independently with minimal oversight. Willingness to grow, adapt and develop along with the ability to be flexible and accommodating.
  • Customer Service Skills – Must have a strong desire to provide high satisfaction levels to internal and external customers.
  • Other Qualifications – Must be able to pass a background screen that includes a credit check component.
